Extend WordPress default search function

Project Description

I need a WordPress/PHP developer to help me extend WordPress’ search functionality. Default searches return any word in the content. I need the ability to search for exact phrases in the content. That is if multiple words are typed in the search box, I need those listings to be returned in that exact order. The search form should include a checkbox that toggles exact match (checked by default) and one button that is search. It should only search one category within the WP database. This needs to work on WordPress 2.9.2.
